Milan, May 2021 – 21iLAB significantly contributed to the outstanding “Dante.global” project, being responsible for the development and creation of the platform and its associated e-Commerce. A project carried out in close collaboration with the customer, whom 21iLAB has supported as a versatile technological partner. The management and alignment with the various suppliers and the study of the customer journey have been crucial in the overall process , with a strong focus on the user experience, adding high value to the final result.
Above all, integrating the different platforms and systems was the cornerstone in this project – why? Because this integration allows the user to register just once and be able to directly access courses and content delivered on e-learning platforms and different media.

The project involves a vast network of 482 committees, 350 certification centers and 86 literary principals based on all five continents: it will promote the newly integrated programme “Dante.global”, aiming to create a digital place that is a reference point for Italian speakers and for the Italsimpatici. Quality of teaching, high-profile professional skills, cutting-edge software tools are the distinctive elements of this exceptional portal.
The platform was inaugurated on 14 April 2021 by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in the year of Dante’s celebrations for the 700th anniversary of the death of the supreme poet: it will gradually be enriched with further contents along the lines of the most prestigious European linguistic-cultural institutes such as British Council, Goethe Institut, Instituto Cervantes, Institut Français. The project will be monitored by the General Secretary Alessandro Masi and a Scientific Committee composed of distinguished exponents from the academic, cultural and business world.
“There is a need for humanism”, says Andrea Riccardi, president of the Società Dante Alighieri, “ in a world that changes ever faster, where social relations are renewed and redefined. We need new cultural coordinates, in order not to lose the ability to orientate ourselves in a new scenario where the greatest value is represented by networks and human relationships. Based on the scenario of an interconnected society, Dante.Global starts a new geo-cultural and linguistic project”, he continues, “ which is our monument to the Poet in the seventh centenary of his death. Our country needs a major relaunch project and we believe it should be based on language and culture, in support of economy and tourism, and on the book, a cultural object and great Italian publishing industry, at the center of the Società Dante Alighieri’s strategies “.
For the realization of the platform, the Società Dante Alighieri made use of the collaboration of important companies, among the Italian and European excellence in their reference sectos, which dealt with the various aspects of necessary development.
21iLAB operated with the aim of optimizing the experience of the user, building a platform that would interact with the various systems, integrating them perfectly. The result is ahighly user friendly and immediate portal, capable of effectively describing the proposed training offer, favoring the call to action of the users.
